GALESBURG — Carl Sandburg College recently added 10 new welding bays and made additions to its electrical lab as part of a Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant worth more than $1 million.


The expansion brought the Sandburg’s total number of welding bays to 25, and the new equipment will be used in the curricula for stackable degree programs that also were developed through TAACCCT grant funding.
